The N172 Old Judge issued by the Goodwin Company was one of the original and most significant baseball card sets ever issued. The mid-1800’s issue contains at least 2,300 different poses. Each series includes 20 cards. Originally blank backed, the producers of these sets
have added a write-up of the player as well as a card number.
