Produced by National Chicle, the cards measure 2 3/8” x 2 7/8” with fronts made up of full color art renderings of actual photographs on artdeco backgrounds. Card backs feature either a player’s biography or a playing tip. The Diamond Star set features over 25 Hall of Famers and
includes the hard to find high number cards. Hall of Famers include Lefty Grove, Al Simmons, Rabbit Maranville, Bill Dickey, Lloyd and Paul Waner, Bill Terry, Carl Hubbell, Hank Greenberg, Mel Ott, Jimmie Foxx, Rogers Hornsby, Ernie Lombardi, Tony Lazzeri, and many other great top players from the mid-1930s
