The 1935 Goudey set is sometimes called the Goudey Puzzle Set, or the Goudey 4-in-1 set. The cards measure 2 3/8” x 2 7/8” and feature color portraits of four players (usually) from the same team on the front. Thirty-six card fronts make up the set with 114 front/back combinations. The card backs form 9 different puzzles, including the Tigers, Indians, and Senators teams plus pictures of Foxx, Cronin, Simmons, Cochrane, Klein, and Frankie Frisch. Set includes baseball Hall of Famers Ruth, Maranville, Dean, Lazzeri, Cuyler, Foxx, Manush, Greenberg, Ferrell, Lloyd and Paul Waner plus many other stars of the era.
